Your pet's medical records

What's the difference between basic vaccines and full medical records?

Basic vaccination records include your pet's latest vaccine dates, due dates, and original documentation from the vet. This functions like a pet passport and is great as proof of vaccination for groomers and boarders. We'll also send you reminders as things come due, so you're never caught in a bind!

Full medical records include everything that your vet has on file which can include doctors notes, x-rays, lab results and more. Please note, x-ray images cannot always be obtained due to vet clinic software limitations. If you want to make sure something specific is included, just leave us a note in the request!

Why do full medical records take longer?

Veterinarians read through and review their notes before sharing them with you, the client. They are very busy with appointments and surgery and it can take them a couple days to get to it. If we are unable to get records within a reasonable time frame, we will refund your payment.

How do I share my pet's records?
  1. In the "Pets" tab of your Pawprint app, select the "Records" button.
  2. Select "Share records".
  3. Select which pet.
  4. Enter the recipient's email address.
How do I print my pet's records?
  1. In the "Pets" tab of your Pawprint app, select the "Records" button.
  2. Select "Share records".
  3. Select which pet.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. Print the copy of your records from your email.

Using the app

How do I add a pet?
  1. At the top of your Pawprint app, there is a dropdown menu where you can select "Add New".
  2. Fill out your pet's information.
How do I delete a pet?
  1. Tap on your pet's photo.
  2. Select "Edit" on the top right corner.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select "Delete pet?"
How do I add multiple vets?
  1. In the "Vets" tab of your Pawprint app, tap "Select a Vet".
  2. You can search for your vet, or if you don't see your vet listed, you can select "Add a Vet" in the top right corner.
How do I add friends and co-owners?

Open the Pawprint mobile app

  1. In the "Pets" tab of your Pawprint app, select your pet's profile.
  2. Select "Edit" in the top right corner.
  3. Select "Add another Owner +".
  4. Follow the prompts.
What do I do with my deceased pet's profile?

We're so sorry for the loss of your pet! To update their profile:

  1. In the "Pets" tab of your Pawprint app, select your pet's profile.
  2. Select "Edit" in the top right corner.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and let us know that your pet has passed.
  4. Select "Save" in the top right corner to preserve their records.
